A private assistant, not a data hostage.

By using Nici, you authorize it to process requests in your tenant and maintain the vault you own. Keep your account secure and do not use Nici for unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized access to another person's data.

Vault ownership and export

You retain ownership of your vault content. Nici provides a portable ZIP export that you can download and keep outside the service.

Operator access disclosure

The Nici operator can access service metadata and may access tenant content only when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, restore, or support the service. Administrative access is constrained, audited, and never a license to use your notes for other purposes.

Automation boundaries

Nici can read and write your vault as part of a request. It must ask the owner before an action sends data or changes something with a third party. Model usage is capped; Nici communicates when the cap causes a lower-cost mode or a pause.

Connected accounts

Connecting an external account is optional and separate from signing in to Nici. Connect only accounts you are authorized to use. Nici requests the least permission needed for a feature and shows the requested access before you continue to the provider. You may turn a connection off in Nici; that immediately prevents Nici from using it while the encrypted credential is removed.

Service limits

Nici is provided as a best-effort personal assistant. Review important output and keep an export of work you cannot afford to lose. This agreement does not reduce any mandatory rights that apply to you.
